Priscilla, Patty, Elizabeth, Sue, and Carol gathered at Mary's for a nice morning of knitting. Mary's pecan roll bundt cake was very yummy! (When I decided to try to add a link for the recipe, I found lots of recipes that are similar to what Mary made and in most places it's called Monkey Bread. This link is not to Mary's recipe but to something approximate that I found online. Mary, if you have a link to the actual recipe, just let me know and I can change it.)
We saw Carol's latest magic loop sock (the link to the left is an example of some magic loop sock websites) and the first of what will be two beaded slippers, Priscilla's almost-finished glow-in-the-dark mittens which are made with a special yarn by Bernat called Glow In the Dark (and thanks to Patty's venture into the closet, we even got to see how they glowed!), Patty and Elizabeth's process knitting (which this product knitter says will make for great scarves!), Mary's hats (she's so prolific; how many were there anyway?!), and Sue's scarf.
