These are some pictures from last week's knitting at Mary's house. I wasn't there, so thanks a bunch to Mary for supplying the pictures!

Sue's Men's Striped Scarf

Peter likes his scarf! The pattern is from the book Knitting for him : 27 classic projects to keep him warm by Martin Storey & Wendy Baker, which I got from the library. The pattern suggests a yarn that was out of my budget, but I was able to substitute Vanna's Choice yarn, which had roughly the same colors as called for in the pattern, at a fraction of the cost.

Kathleen's First Scarf

All on her own - with a little help from her son Blake? - Kathleen knit this gorgeous scarf in a week! She's now a knitter!
